Help the exodus house

As most of my regular readers know, my son is helping to start a transitional living home/halfway house/shelter/monastery in Anderson, Indiana called The Exodus House. It is for men coming out of all kinds of rough situations in their lives, and hopefully this will be a place where they can start on a new path. A house has been purchased (at right) and they are currently in the process of fixing it up and trying to raise funds. They are pursuing a grant from Pepsi for $50,000. This would cover the rest of the remodeling they need to do, as well as most of the first year's budget. The grant is awarded based 100% on voting from the public. You can vote up to ten times per day. The first time you vote it takes about a minute to set up an account, but after that all you have to do is sign in and click on the vote button.

If you would be so kind as to vote for them it would be greatly appreciated. Simply go to http://www.refresheverything.com/theexodushouse and vote (or click on the link at the bottom where it says "Vote for this idea"). Also feel free to email your friends, post a link on your blog, Facebook, Twitter, or however it is you communicate with people. You can also vote by texting 103068 to Pepsi.

To learn more about the house go to www.theexodushouse.com or www.facebook.com/exodushouse. Thanks so much for your help.

Peace out; and in.

I don't know. A home for cats with leukemia, another field at the little league complex, or Exodus House. Decisions, decisions.
