We reset our clocks back to Standard Time last night. Daylight Saving Time is now over for this year. Of course the way I always remember how to do it is the "fall back" and "spring forward" analogy. The truth is, in the summer - during DST - we are setting the clocks 1 hour ahead. In the fall we are simply returning to Standard Time.
This is the first time I remember my birthday falling on the day when we got to do an hour over again. I'm sure it's happened before... I just don't remember it. Not that it mattered all that much. An extra hour of sleep is almost always a good thing though.
