So I guess today is National Running Day. I actually jogged for a couple blocks this morning, and walked the rest of the mile. I was winded. I am so out of shape.
I got plantar fasciitis last fall, and while I am starting to feel better, I have just gotten out of the discipline of running. I hate it. I WANT to run again - it helps with my sanity - but it's so hard getting back in the groove. I had been telling myself that I'm no longer a runner, but a friend suggested that I am a runner... I just haven't been running. I think that's true.
I think maybe it's time I stopped using my foot as an excuse. So now I guess it's just my brain.
