Jane and I will finally be in one Accord. We just bought this 2013 Honda Accord. And I mean, literally, like just an hour ago I called and put down some money on our credit card. We go tonight to sign the papers and pick it up.
Drew's uncle works at Don Ayers Honda and we prefer to buy from him. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a car. I called him Tuesday and we stopped that night and drove this car and one Civic. Yesterday I read reviews and whatnot and we decided that I would call this morning and if they still had it we would pull the trigger. They did, and so we did. I'm trying not to think about how fast it happened so I don't freak out.
I would have been okay with waiting, but I'm good with this car too. We actually didn't want white. It also doesn't have a sun-roof or XM radio that we wanted. For some reason we just like it though. It does at least have a pinstripe. And it's supposed to be "Pandora Capable" (or something). We could always add an external XM radio if need be. It's pretty nice looking, and has all kinds of interior room.
I've wanted a Ford Fusion the last 2 or 3 cars we've bought, but it still didn't happen. I don't know what it is about them, but I like the way they look. I actually thought we would get a smaller car this time. The Accord only gets 2 mpg less than the Civic though, so we will enjoy the nicer ride.
I suppose the hard part will now be trying to clean out, and up, my '02 Buick Century. I will try to sell it myself. It would be nice to get $1000 out of it, but a lot will probably depend on the person/situation.
