First snow of the year

Yesterday was the first significant snowfall we've had this season. It was only an inch or so, and it came Friday and Saturday, but it's the first that stuck to the ground.

I am not a big fan of winter, but it doesn't seem to bother me as much living in the city. I absolutely hated it when we lived out in the middle of nowhere and you had to worry about going in the ditch (or a family member doing so) everytime you wanted to go somewhere or do something.

Anyway, Jane took this pic of our house, and it's actually kind of pretty. Not that I'm all hopped up on holiday spirit or anything, but... it is kind of pretty.

I have yet to get the snow blower out of hiding. One of these days I suppose I will need that again.
