The lovely lady Jane and I were married on this date 27 years ago (1983). It was a wee bit rainy off and on, but it turned out to be a nice day overall. This pic was actually taken a couple of years prior to that - at my high school graduation open house (1981). We had just begun dating a few months before this, and were engaged a few months after this. Fortunately she still has that adorable glow about her, and I no longer have those dorky glasses or mullet. This was actually my "New Wave" hair. And I can still remember the day I pitched my contact lenses and decided to get the biggest, ugliest looking pair of glasses I could find. I don't really know what I was thinking now, but I'm sure it made some kind of sense then. Or not. Anyway... happy 27th my dear. I love you.
I love you, too...who would have thought those two crazy kids would have such a wonderful life, two awesome kids (and one great son-in-law). You're the best...

ReplyDeleteI actually do think their furniture has been in the same spot my whole life. Even when they get new - it goes in the same place.
