Sleep

I have been sleeping rather well lately. I quit taking sleep aids at the beginning of last week - and not only am I sleeping better, but I feel better in the morning. For awhile I had been taking Lorazepam/Ativan, and I really (really) like that. But I've heard it's not good to get in the habit of taking it night... because it can be habit-forming. So then I switched to otc Melatonin (10 mg). I've been taking it for awhile. I really left me feeling groggy in the morning, and sometimes I wasn't sure how good it really worked. Seemed like I would wake up around 4 am or so. I still seem to wake up before the alarm goes off, but it's a comfortable awake, and I can drift back off to sleep. I also like the lack of grogginess in the morning. I slept like a rock last night.

  1. Wish I could say the same. It has just become an issue, which is why I can't remember words like "escrow". I did get to bed earlier last night, and when I inevitably woke up I did a shot of ZZzQuil, but still had a two hour layover waiting for the dream weaver train. Hopefully my upcoming vacation will reboot me.

    My soul with heavenly thoughts supply;
    Let no ill dreams disturb my rest,
    No powers of darkness me molest."
