Here's a pic of our new Hyundai Elantra. It is 'quicksilver gray'. Nothing fancy, but it sure is fun to drive. We get three months of free XM radio too! I could really dig having it longer - if it didn't cost money (which we will no longer have any of). There is also an auxiliary jack for the ipod (and a cd player). Our garage seems bigger now too.

Cool ride! Enjoy the new wheels.
...and that new car smell. You may not appreciate it now, but in a few months you'll be going into the glove compartment for your fix.
Thanks, gents.
Yes, I've been trying to enjoy it, but I have to admit that I'm still a bit stressed over laying out that much cash, and whether it was wise to get the manual instead of the automatic, and if it was the right color, if we should have went with the cheaper Accent, and so on and so forth. But it's starting to grow on me. Such is life.
I DO like that new car smell though. We've only smelled it once before - around 1990 - with a Nissan Sentra. It had a heater and a radio, and I think we paid $6,000 for it. One of the best cars we've ever had. Usually we just get my parents cars when they're ready to trade them in. So it's nice to have one that we actually picked out. :)
Anyway....
Oooooo-weee!! Shiny new iPod, shiny new wheels ... aren't you just the dude!
I'm currently in the market for a gold neck chain too. :)
So much for that vow of poverty thing. :o)
Now I'm being driven to poverty... in a Hyundai.
No gold neck chains...please. :)
Ah, come on, Jane! The gold chains will go with his new teeth grillz. Or to put it another way, there're things way worse than gold chains. :o)
