No, she won't be managing branches, but the lovely Lady Jane was just promoted to Branch Manager at the bank she has been working at for the last year and a half. After getting several emails while on vacation as to her interest, she interviewed for the position this past Wednesday (on her day off, of course). She was offered the job the next day and accepted. I'm not sure when the "official" start date will be - probably by July 19 - but she has basically taken over the duties already. She will now have some more responsibility, a little more money (it should pay way more than it does), and an OFFICE. First order of business is hiring someone to replace herself.
I can't think of a better person for the job. She is a natural leader, in a very unassuming way (the perfect "servant leader"); Plus the fact that she just received her bachelors degree in Organizational Leadership (which really did prepare her well for this); and it takes someone with a high level of integrity to not snoop around in other people's finances (which she is). So it should be a good fit.
