Doctor visit

I had a routine doctor visit today at 9:15 am. I had quit taking my blood pressure medicine on June 15. The last visit there (May 22) the doctor said that if I kept my weight down and my bp continued to be good I could try going off the meds. Not only did I keep my weight down, but it went down even further, and my bp was 107/78 today! So... he said HE IS RELEASING ME!!! I AM NO LONGER BEING TREATED FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE!!! He said the only reason he needs to see me in the future is if there is something wrong. So no more routine visits every three months to check my bp.

Then, to top things off, when I went to pay the receptionist said I had a $5 credit because apparently the insurance had paid more on something. So it was only $15! What a nice way to start the day!

Here are the facts...

Weight – 151 (fully clothed, w/shoes)
Blood Pressure – 108/78
Pulse – 76

Current Medicines:
Nasonex nasal spray 50 mcg; usually 1 spray per nostril per day
OTC Allegra (generic) 180 MG; 1 per day before bedtime (for allergies)

Symptoms:
None… feeling fine.

***Items to Note:
I stopped taking Lisinopril on June 15, 2012 – per doctor’s suggestion (20 MG tablet; 1 per day for blood pressure).

Blood pressure readings at home since last visit (May 22, 2012):

6/15/12 – 85/62 (while still taking Lisinopril)
6/22/12 – 125/75
6/23/12 – 117/82
6/26/12 – 113/72; 117/75
6/28/12 – 118/76
7/7/12 – 123/77
