p. 28 (by Mattie Stepanek): "Remember to play after every storm."Sanborn ends this chapter talking about our need to enjoy the journey of life. If we go on vacation, we would be silly to not enjoy it. And we need to view life more as that kind of journey, rather than day-to-day obligations.
p. 28 (by Mahatma Gandhi): "Be the change you wish to see in the world."
p. 32: "Management guru Tom Peters claims that the worst thing that can happen to us as leaders is to exhaust our intellectual capital. We must constantly refresh ourselves by getting new information and thinking critically about the information we receive."
I want to remember to play; to relish the sights and events along the way; to get more out of what I do by enjoying it instead of trying to 'get through it'; to see life as an opportunity rather than an obligation.
And I want that for you too.
Peace, friends.

It is even possible to not only get through a bad movie but to enjoy a bad movie, with bad popcorn and smelly bathrooms...mainly because we are sometimes blessed to have shared the experience with somone wonderful. :)
lol - yes, Jane and I went to Borat at the dollar theater last night. Had it not been for the company we shared, it wouldn't have been worth the dollar.
Slow day making pizza's, dear?
I think you would be interested in this video about Bernie Meyer who has traveled the world portraying Gandhi:

Heather,
Thanks for the link to the nice video. Gandhi looks pretty good for a dead guy. :)
