Free Ride

It was The Edgar Winter Group who wrote the song, "Free Ride." The original lyrics are:
The mountain is high
The valley is low
and you're confused on which way to go
so I've come here to give you a hand
and lead you into the promised land
so...
come on and take a free ride [free ride!]
come on and sit here by my side
come on and take a free ride
all over the country I've seen it the same
nobody's winning at this kind of game
we've got to do better it's time to begin
you know all the answers must come from within
so...
come on and take a free ride [free ride]
come on and sit here by my side
come on and take a free ride

The Christian Rock band Audio Adrenaline covered the song on their 1996 album "Bloom," slightly changing the lyrics to:

The mountains are high
The valleys are low
and you're confused on which way to go
I know there's someone who'll give you a hand
and lead you into the promised land

Chorus
Come on and take a free ride
Come on and get by my side
Come on and take a free ride

All over the country I've seen it the same.
Nobody's winning at this type of game
They got to do better they got to take aim
All of the answers are coming from Him

Come on and take a free ride
Come on and get by my side
Come on and take a free ride

("The Boys Are Back In Town" was by Thin Lizzy)

I guess if that place had an internet connection, we wouldn't have anything to speculate about. I did like Jane's idea of calling the kids. "What? You're sleeping... well get up, this is important. Go to your computer and Google this..."

MR,
I think it should be a law that all public places have free internet. I mean, how "public" can it be if you can't connect with the entire world? :)
