This was in the living room of our apartment in Findlay, OH not too long after getting him. He was sound asleep. He also liked to chew his bone while on his back - right up to the end.
Taking a bath in Findlay - before his ears stood up.
He was always a ham for the camera. A stately sort.
We could never take family pics without getting some of him. A model dog.

Thanks for posting these - it made me smile at work...
I am so sorry to read about Bogie. We will miss him too. He always had to be the center of all family pictures. He was a great dog! My thoughts and prayers are with you . . . I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet.
Thanks Deb. Holidays will definitely be different.
Hey Dan,
Sorry to hear about Bogie. It seems liked Bogie loved everyone, and everyone loved him back. Funny how pets work their magic on people, getting them to give and love without reserve. Maybe St. Francis knew that all along.
Pax Christi.
Thanks Patti. I hope you're not offended that I changed my blog title back. I'm just not feeling like much of anything at the moment. Nothing personal.
As much as I think about titles and names, I rarely notice them in print. My eyes manage to skip right past whatever is bold and highlighted. Weird, huh? It would take me something close to nine years to notice that you changed your title. Obviously, I'm not the best person to follow on a busy highway because I'll notice "1/4 mile" but not WHAT is "1/4 mile"
Anyway, no biggie about the name change. That's another thing about me--I don't rankle very easily.
