- I need to start reading Organic Leadership: Leading Naturally Right Where You Are by Neil Cole, because this is my assigned reading for the Missional Leadership Initiative and we're supposed to start discussing it at our November meeting.
- I just picked up Resident Aliens: A Provocative Christian Assessment of Culture and Ministry for People Who Know That Something is Wrong by Stanley Hauerwas and William H. Willimon. I found this on the free book pile at the seminary the other day, and it's one I've wanted to read for some time. I actually think it is signed by Stanley.
- The most recent book I ordered was The Good and Beautiful God: Falling in Love With the God Jesus Knows by James Bryan Smith. This is the first in a series of books by him on practicing spiritual disciplines. I wanted to buy all three, but thought I better start with this one. It was recommended by a friend, and it looks really, really good.
- I also ordered three workbooks: 1) A Spiritual Formation Workbook, 2) Connecting With God, and 3) Learning From Jesus. They are all Renovare resources designed for individual or group spiritual formation. I kinda dig this stuff.

New books
The pile of books to read continues to grow deeper and deeper. I still have a couple left on the previous pile that I'd like to get done, but I just had some new arrivals that may push them back.
