Reasons why good employees quit

I ran across this insightful little article "Top 4 Reasons Why Good Employees Quit" the other day. They say, "Losing your top talent could cost you more money than working to retain them." Here are the top 4:
  • Poor reward system - not everyone is motivated the same way
  • Management - "People don't leave companies, they leave managers."
  • Hiring/promotions - rewarding undeserving workers alienates the rest of the workforce
  • Too much work - relying too heavily on a certain few "go-to" workers can burn them out
What I found especially interesting is that this is career advice for Filipino Millenials! I am far from being either, but it makes a lot of sense to me. Click the link to read the entire article. It's pretty short, and could be helpful.
