Brittany runs a marathon & Once upon a time in hollywood

We recently watched two new-ish movies. We watched them in our basement living room. I'd have loved to have gone to a movie theater, but who can afford that anymore, right?! Anyway, we liked them both.

Brittany Runs A Marathon had been on several lists of "running movies" I'd seen. To be honest, I wasn't all that interested - mostly because of the title and the few clips I'd seen. I thought it would be kind of hokey. However, I it was actually a really good movie! It had much more depth than I'd imagined, and a great story-line. I found it particularly interesting as a runner, but I would actually recommend it to anyone.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is one of those movies I've wanted to see since it came out. I almost went to the theater to see it! I admit I'm a Brad Pitt fan, and I like Leo DiCaprio most of the time too. I've tried to rent it at home for some time but wasn't going to pay the $19.99 to watch something in my basement. It finally dropped to $4.99 so we jumped. This is classic Tarantino in the vein of 'Pulp Fiction.' So if you're into that sort of thing like I am, you will likely like this movie. I do understand not everyone is a fan though. I thought it great!

So, there you have it! I want to do better this year at listing movies and concerts we see. These were two good ones!
