Did you notice the new title? It's okay if you didn't. Last week I removed the space between 'every' and 'day' (I "spaced out" - lol). Just a little tweak toward the future. Maybe.
I think my original blog title here was 'Dannos Dangerous Mind.' Then came 'Peace Revolution.' Then back to the dangerous mind, and maybe a few others. I am presently too lazy to look back and see when it changed to 'Every Day With Dan.' My intent was to post something every day (or nearly so), whether it was any good or not (someone said that's how you get better at writing). I gave it a go for awhile.
Now, though, I'm more concerned with 'everyday' content, than something every day. Everyday is an adjective used to describe something "ordinary" or "typical." Every day simply means "each day." While I may still post several days each week, I want to sort of hone in on that place where everyday life intersects with everyday faith.
You may not even notice a change. This is a pretty ordinary blog as it is, and I've always tried to follow and talk about Jesus and faith in very ordinary language. It will hopefully provide me with a little clearer focus though.
So, a subtle change, similar to the subversive nature of kingdom living. That's my goal. I hope you'll stick around. :)

“This is what the Lord says:
‘Let not the wise boast of their wisdom
or the strong boast of their strength
or the rich boast of their riches,
but let the one who boasts boast about this:
that they have the understanding to know me,
that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,’
declares the Lord.”

It would be nice if we could all have this as our intent with our conversations, writing and other such things. Everyday life intersecting with everyday faith is a good thing. I'll be sticking around. :)
