I broke down and turned on the heat this weekend. The highs have only been in the 50s, and while it had only gotten down to like 63 in the house, I decided it was just stupid. So, it is now set to 68 during the time we're home, and 65 at night and when we're gone. It will likely stay that way unless we have guests or something (which will not be often if at all). Fortunately our house is pretty well insulated (apparently).
Another reason I turned it on is because I was sick this weekend. I didn't feel great most of the week - just tired and rundown. Friday I started to feel a bit worse. I was pretty much a slug all weekend. I don't know if it's allergies or the common cold. Just an ear-nose-throat thing and a bit achy all over. I've been coughing up gunk the whole time, so I'm hoping that means it won't stick around long.
And... that's about all that's been happening. I took the entire week of from running or any kind of exercise. I intended to go for a jog last Thursday, but it was cold and rainy and I didn't feel good. I doubt that a week off was bad for me. Hopefully I can get back at it this week. If I feel better.
I'm not a big fan of running in cold weather, so I may have to start using a treadmill at work, or maybe doing some bodyweight bootcamp-type stuff at home. We'll see.

Matthew 9:23-24
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”
