I almost forgot we saw the movie Inherent Vice this past Saturday. It was at the Cinema Center. I'm not sure how good of a movie it is, but we enjoyed it. The audience was laughing out loud through most of it. Joaquin Phoenix is a pot-smoking PI in 1970's California. I'm sure not everyone would like it, but we did.
We also like the Cinema Center. It is small, and has a real cozy feel to it. I believe they've redone the stadium seats, and I don't know if it's because it's smaller, or because they've added alcohol sales, but it kind of seems like everyone is friendlier too. Anyway, it was a fun way to spend a dreary February afternoon.
