If I Were Not A Christian

The thought just occurred to me this morning... what would my life be like if I were not a follower of Christ? How would it be different? What would I be doing? Would people know?

I suppose it's not a good sign that I don't have an answer right off the top of my head. But I think it's something we followers of Christ ought to consider more (especially evangelicals). It could raise some interesting questions. Like:
- Is it weird to non-Christians that we "have church" mostly just on Sunday morning?
- Do we notice our words and phrases and how odd they might sound to non-Christians.
- Would my lifestyle be any different: the shows I watched, music I listened to, sites I visited?
- Would I drive a different kind of car; live in a different house; have a different occupation?
- How about friends? Would they be the same or not? And would I be "as" friendly, less friendly, or more friendly? Or would it matter?

How much does Christ influence the daily life of his average follower?

Just something to think about. Please feel free to add a thought if you care.

Peace.

Great points to ponder. I was reading through some of your other blogs from this week and it looks like you could use a vacation! SWAT raids, suicide talk, etc! Hope today will bring peace to you... God Bless...

Thanks Debbie. Yes, it was an eventful week. I hope this one is much calmer. And, a vacation would be good! :)
