SWAT Team

Yesterday I witnessed my first live SWAT team raid. And it was my neighbor! I wrote more earlier, but decided that maybe it's not my place to share details. All I can say is...

- It's a lot different in real life than on TV.
- I was scared to death (I honestly almost puked).
- I am glad nothing serious happened to my friend/neighbor.
- I don't understand why there were so many police officers, police cars, and guns.
- I don't care if I ever go through anything like that again.

I feel so bad for my neighbor. He's the only black person that lives in our rural area. And I certainly HOPE that didn't have anything to do with this. He was wrongly targeted, wrongly shoved to the floor, wrongly had a gun held to his head, wrongly handcuffed, wrongly interrogated, wrongly had his house and property searched, wrongly received a cut on his head. I wish there was something I could do to help.

Peace takes on a whole new dimension today. So does revolution. I cried when I thought my friend had been shot. This morning I'm kinda mad.

So... Peace; and Revolution.
