Tattoo You?

Last night Jane and I attended a Joe Bonamassa concert (more on that later). At one point we were kind of standing in the middle of The Outlaws motorcycle gang, and... it got me to thinking about getting a tattoo again. I don't have any, and I'm not sure if I ever would, but the thought crosses my mind every now and then. Here is a good article defending tattoos from a Christian perspective click here at www.sacredink.net.
Peace.

Hey Dan,

I've never really thought of you as a "tat" kinda guy. Sorry but I see you complaining about for the rest of your life AFTER you get one. But Hey, I'm not the boss of you, do what ya want. Where would you place it? :-)

Hmm. Maybe I should get a washable one then. Actually, I've thought about getting the word "save" somewhere - you know, just in case God forgets. Or, I sometimes think it would be cool to get my whole left arm done with various tats; Maybe Calvary Road, or the Last Supper or something. But probably, if I got one, I'd get a fish with IXOYE in it (Jesus Christ God's Son Savior), and probably put it upper left side of my chest, upside down so I could see it. But, who knows...
Later.

One of the pastors at my church has often said he wants the whole salvation message tatooed on his arm... I figure though if tatoos are a sin, then so must be dying our hair or piercing ears or whatever else we do!

Good point, Debbie - though there are plenty who would say haircoloring and ear-piercing "are" sins... depending on whether they have any or not. :)

I like the idea of the salvation message on the arm too. Good to hear from you again!
