Midwest Emergent Gathering

Click on the banner for info on this event. I am glad someone is doing something like this in the midwest. Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to attend on that date. Plus, it doesn't appear to have much to do with my situation - since I am not urban or suburban - but... I do hope it goes well.

Is there such a thing as "sub-rural?" cuz that's where you are. You're like "need a GPS, hardtack, pack mule and a Sherpa on Sunday morning to get to church" out there. God is like "where is that praying coming from?" I mean you are REMOTE! UFOs land out there and ask for directions. Rand McNally and Google have never heard of it... the latitude/longitude lines don't go....

Some people think of it as the 'middle of nowhere.' I tend to think we're in the center of everything, and we just have a big buffer zone.

Sorry about that! We didn't mean to give the impression that rural was being excluded. They're definitely included too. I'll have to go fix that on the site.
