I feel rotten, but at least I'm not invisible

I don't know if I have a head cold or if it's allergies... but either way, I feel like crap. My nose is like a faucet, my head hurts, I look like I'm crying, and my throat is all scratchy and sore. I was at least able to get through our worship gathering this morning. Coudn't get too much power outta my voice by the end, but I made it.

I can't complain too much though. Isaac called last night and said he was sleeping in a carboard box in Chicago, and all they got from yesterday until today was a bottle of water and a box of crackers. It's part of the Invisible Children - Displace Me movement. It's to raise awareness for the 1.5 million people who are displaced from their homes in Northern Uganda. Looks like quite a bit of stuff on their website... and as soon as I can sit without coughing, sneezing, or blowing my nose for a few minutes I will have to look at it in depth.

Sigh.

I feel the same way, Dan. But for me it comes from being a Detroit Lions fan and watching them mess up yet another draft. The suffering continues.

Well done to your friend Isaac who you say took part in the amazing initiative of DISPLACE ME put together by INVISIBLE CHILDREN... I have been following this campaign from across the water with great interest and respect as I also follow the horror going in Darfur and Sudan...Sincere Respect to all the organisers and participants from Suzanne in Dublin, Ireland

Chamomile tea (or perhaps a wee dram or two) for you, PD, and a hearty cheer for Isaac. I think it would be incredibly cool if he got to see Uganda for himself (Beth's in Kenya at the moment, also a lovely part of the world with lovely, lovely people).

Tom,
Yeah, you should be sick. I don't know that the Cowboys had a great draft either, but at least we picked a Fort Wayne guy! Our #1 is from Purdue, and Bishop Luers.

Anonymous,
Greetings and good to hear nice things about this campaign. I have to admit I hadn't heard of it until Isaac (my son) called and told my wife about it. Sounds good!
blessings.
