Is he now? When I first joined the Soup we exchanged some e-mails, and he told me how he lost his hearing playing rock in scuzzy Winnipeg bars. He had some funny stories, and in most of them he made himself out to be a bit of a Falstaffian-type dude. Never let on that he had actual chops.

Darrell, That's interesting, because on Friday night I actually helped him look for what he said was one of his "ear plugs" on the Exit/In floor. He found it and I remember thinkin', "That looked more like a hearing aid than an earplug." Huh. See what we can learn about one another on the 'net.
