- The middle and ring finger on my left hand hurt most of the time. I don't know if it's arthritis or what, but it sometimes makes playin' the guitar a bitch.
- My dad was my high school principal.
- My favorite time of day is early in the morning when it's kind of cool and the birds are singing.
- I have always liked cats. Some of my favorites have been: Sox (the first one I remember), Jimmy Carter, Smokey, and a series of cats named Mama Kitty.
- I can't decide if I would rather be a really good guitar player or bass player. I've lately been leaning towards bass, because a really good bass player can make up for a whole lotta mediocrity, and bass players usually just get to kinda "hang out" off to the side. But, really, I would settle for being "kind of" good at either one.
- I eventually regret almost everything I say or do.
- I take medicine for high blood pressure.
- I play multiple games of yahtzee every single day.

I've been tagged by a couple of people now (Randy & Mike) so I need to try to think of 8 things that you all don't already know about me. Might not be possible, but here are 8 random things:

Okay, I can bring the drinks, but we need to find out what kind of dishes people can bring to Dan's Yahtzee intervention. Maybe some of those little hot dogs and some nachos...
I have a recipe for little cookies shaped like dice. No wait, that would just add to the problem. I've always thought Yahtzee was an excellent game for honing decision making skills and learning that whatever you do, you will probably eventually regret it (now, why in the heck did I use those twos as my chance?). I'm sensing some connections here . . .
Hmm, I'm beginning to wonder if the regrets, and the yahtzee playing have anything to do with having to take blood pressure meds... :\
Okay - eight things about me that people (not including dan h.) may not know.
1. When I was a youngster, I wanted to be a vet. I always loved being out in the barn with my dad and the animals.
2. When I was going into seventh grade, my dad bought me my first horse and those first few summers, I probably rode it about every day.
3. The original part of the house I grew up in was built in the late 1800's and is now empty for the first time since then.
4. I became an aunt for the first time when I was six.
5. I can somewhat play the piano and when I was in band, I played the trumpet, baritone, french horn and marimbas.
6. My favorite thing to eat is a good piece of cheesecake.
7. I always wanted to be one of those people who looked their best in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.
8. I think I could sit on the beach and listen to the ocean all day...it is a most relaxing sound.
Imagine that - I've always had a thing for girls who look their best in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. :)
