I have a question

For those of you who read this via a feed or reader (you know, like, bloglines, etc.)... If I edit a post and re-publish it, does it show up again, or do you just get the original?

I can tend to change the content of posts quite a bit and I've always wondered if it's re-sending it every time I do. I shudder to think how many times that must happen, and those of you who read this way probably wish I would get it right the first time. Unfortunately I have always tended to speak first and think later. I think I'm getting better, but, you know, I'm not a professional writer or blogger, so... it is what it is. But I've been wondering, and if anyone would be so kind as to leave a comment I would be much obliged. Heck, you can leave a comment even if you don't know the answer.

Peace out; peace in.

I use Google Reader and it does NOT resend anything after the first publication. So no, you aren't flooding me with revisions and afterthoughts, anyway. OTOH, now I wonder WHICH version I get? Am I getting the REAL Dan? :-)

Thanks Jim. I'm guessing it must be the same for everybody (or nobody likes me anymore). :(

And, actually, I've been wondering who the real Dan is for years! =)

I get 17 copies that go like this:

"It was a dark and stormy night..."
"It was a dark and RAINY night..."
"It was dark, rainy and nightime.."
"It was pitch black, precipitous and nocturnal..."
etc.

Just kidding, I travel through this blog about a million times a day using your link to get to get to mine to get to others. (never bookmark your blog at work!)

Carrie & MR,
Ahh, thanks for commenting anyway. I don't know how the feeds/readers really work anyway. I "think" I have a bloglines account, but I don't know what it means really. I was just wondering, because I know there are several people who do read here (at least I thought) in that manner, and I'd always wondered about it.

Anyway, thanks for dropping by. :)
