Water, water, everywhere

I snapped these pics the other day. The water wasn't at its highest, but it's gone down from this a bit now. You know what they say... "When it rains it pours." And now it's all frozen. At least we're not stranded like Carrie. (click on the pics to enlarge them).

The view from the front door of the church building.

This is from the driveway at our house.

From the road in front of our house.

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen it that bad before.

Could you ever get into the Church?

This is the worst I've seen it too. Not sure if you're talking about people or water getting into the church. People could get it, but not water. Though I was wondering where people were going to park if it didn't go down (there are only a handful of parking spaces covered up now). The sump pump in the basement is definitely working overtime. In fact, I had someone buy a spare just so we'd have it on hand.

Gen. 9:11 "Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."

May you again be encouraged. Now, on with the weekend...
