Perhaps you noticed that I added music to my blog. I didn't know you could do such things on good ol' blogger. I think it's actually a Myspace thing. Not sure how I feel about it yet. But what about you... Should it stay or should it go? I was hoping there was a way I could make it so the music didn't play automatically, but I can't figure out how to change that. I guess you can always hit the pause button.
And while you're at it - which is your favorite song on my current playlist?
- All That I Can Say - David Crowder Band
- Into The Mystic - Van Morrison
- Angel From Montgomery - John Prine (even though that's not John singing)
- Somewhere Within - Jason & the Scorchers
- Cortez The Killer - Neil Young
- Nice Day - Tommy Womack
- Peace - Rich Mullins
- Blue Jean Blues - ZZ Top
Do you have any suggestions you think I should add? Or... maybe I'll get tired of this thing and remove it altogether. I dunno. We'll see.
Peace out; peace in.

Crowder. That's one of my favorite dcb songs and probably one of their least known.
Can you make it so when they click the link to my blog is plays Helter Skelter?
I really enjoy the DCB (i guess that's what the cool people call it).
But Into the Mystic would probably take the cake because Moondance is my favorite album that I own. In second would be Rich Mullins because I think he wrote some of the greatest music ever and I admire the life he lived. In third would come Cortez the Killer. Neil Young obviously does it best, but Dave Matthews does a pretty good cover and I don't really even like DMB...man I'm hip. :)
5 days until the Summit, but as soon as I get a chance, I'm making a music thing on mine. Very cool.
The internet connection at my apartment is no longer. :(
Tammie,
Good. Then you would be the perfect person for me to ask which DCB cd would be best for me to start with??
MR,
I thought it already did that. Must just be on my computer.
Carrie,
Ah... you have good taste. Sorry to hear about your internet connection. I had to mess with some of the code to get it to fit on my blog, but I'm sure you can figure it out - or if you get in a bind, just let me know.
Thanks for the comments, folks!
I'm not saying it's the "best," but I've definitely been listening to Somewhere Within a lot. I hadn't heard it before but I really like it. Which album is it on?
Isaac,
Yeah... any JATS song is better live than recorded. But that's a good one. I believe it's on 'A Blazing Grace' and also 'Midnight Roads and Stages Seen."
I'll probably opt-out on the music (w/pause), mostly because everything distracts me when I'm reading. If a good song comes on the car radio, I'm liable to drive off the road.
...well, not that bad, but my comprehension suffers when I'm reading.

Hi DDM,
On behalf of Exile Productions and Exile Publishing, many thanks for plugging Van Morrison on your play-list and, if you / your readers want good quality, non-pirated, preview tracks from Van's new album - "Keep It Simple" - full versions of "That's Entrainment" and "Behind The Ritual" (along with album track samplers) are available for fans and bloggers to listen to (and link to) on Lost Highway's web-site at http://www.losthighwayrecords.com .
Up-to-the-minute info on Keep It Simple and Van’s 2008 shows is, of course, also available on www.vanmorrison.com and www.myspace.com/vanmorrison and, for a limited period, you can still hear Van's exclusive BBC concert at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/radio2_aod.shtml?radio2/r2_vanmorrison and you can also see his BBC sessions at http://www.bbc.co.uk/musictv/vanmorrison/video/ .
Thanks again for your plug.

MR,
Actually, I'm the same way. I like having the tunes *there*, but glad I figured out how to keep it from starting automatically. Heck, you're like one of the only people that reads my blog - I don't want you to quit too!
Web Sheriff,
Um, you're welcome. Am I in some kind of trouble? At any rate, Van is THE man. Thanks for the links and info.
Who's the NARC? Did the neighbors call Web Sheriff on us again?
