I receive a weekly email from the nice folks at ChristianHistory.net, and this week had a quote that banged my gong loudly. It was from Pope Gregory the Great (540-604), and goes like this:"Act in such a way that your humility may not be weakness, nor your authority be severity. Justice must be accompanied by humility, that humility may render justice lovable."
Wow. Is that not a spectacular idea? That shall be my prayer for the day.
This nice article by Chris Armstrong on the monk-pope Gregory the Great "Spirituality for Busy People" seems fairly appropriate this time of year.
Peace out; and in.
