An interesting book, and website, on how to make a natural, composting toilet that doesn't require water. Hmm... you just never know when you might need to do something like this. I found it just a bit fascinating (ok, maybe it was a bit TOO fascinating).

I've also been trying to find out if you can still build an open-pit outhouse in our neck of the woods, but I've not had any luck yet. Seems like the perfect solution for our playground facilities.
