After having a pretty high reading for blood pressure at Redi-Med last Saturday (141/101), I decided I better start checking it again. I went to the Walmart by our house this morning and it was 134/86 and 129/85 (though I just walked in, sat down, and took it - no rest).
I have been thinking about asking my doctor if I can change from taking Lisinopril back to Atenelol. One of the main side effects of Lisinipril is a nagging cough. I think that's been part of my problem lately. Although, after looking at the side effects of Atenolol again, I'm not sure if I want to go back there. Maybe there is something newer, yet still inexpensive. That's the best part about these two medicines - they are really cheap.
