We had 4 new tires put on the Focus today. We usually only put 2 tires on at a time (because we can't usually swing paying for all 4 at once), but we've done a pretty good job of rotating tires every other oil change on this car. That was one thing we read about this particular make of car before we bought it. It seemed to go through tires quickly if you didn't keep the tires rotated on a regular basis. The original tires lasted 50,000 miles. I suppose that's about right. They were pretty evenly worn. We replaced them with Mastercraft tires. I'm not sure of the specific tire, but it was whatever our mechanic suggested. We don't go top end (Cooper), but we've always had pretty decent luck with this brand.
We need to replace the tires on the Buick too, but that will have to wait. Maybe the next oil change.
