Drew's trip to texas, our nest is no longer empty

Son-in-law Drew got a new job with RailAmerica. He will be an engineer on a train. We are very proud of him for getting this job - and having to only have one job, instead of two, for a change.

He actually started last week (9/17) and did shadowing on a train. I believe most of his trips are between Fort Wayne and Chicago. The biggest drawback was the timing of the hiring though. He left Sunday and has to be in Dallas, TX for two weeks of training. So he is there from Sept. 23 until Oct. 5. And his son is due to be born Oct. 8th! We are hoping and praying that Carrie holds out until then. She went a week early with Anna. At any rate, just to be on the safe side, Carrie and Anna are staying with us until Drew gets home. Not only can Carrie use the help with Anna, it will just be that much easier for all of us if the new baby decides he wants to step out into the world a little early.

So, while it is quite a bit different having other people living in the house with us, it is kind of fun having Anna around. We are fortunate to be able to spend this much time with her. She's such a cutey! We are definitely looking forward to Drew getting back home though, and getting into his new routine of 'workin' on the railroad.'
