Bridal shower in buda

Jane and the girls spent this past weekend in Buda for  a bridal shower for Ricci. Jane, Carrie, Ricci, Anna and Bennett made the trip in Carrie's Trail Blazer. They left Friday morning and returned home last night. They all stayed at my parents house, and my sister was also there from Minnesota. The shower was a joint shower with our niece, Laura, who is getting married in October. Laura and our kids grew up together, so it's kind of neat that her and Isaac are getting married in back-to-back months, and I am doing both weddings. They had the shower at the Chestnut Street Inn in Sheffield. Sounds like everyone had a good time, but that the owner was a bit "difficult."Otherwise I think the weekend seemed to go well for everyone. They all went shopping in Peoria on Saturday, and went out to eat at Red's on Friday and in Tiskilwa on Saturday.
