Isaac turns 28

Today is son Isaac's 28th birthday. Man... he has always seemed older than he is, but now he's actually getting there! I can remember being 28.

He is still living in the Atlanta suburb of Stone Mountain, GA with his wife, Ricci, and their dog. He finished his second year of grad school at Candler School of Theology on the campus of Emory University. He continues to work for one or two professors, as well as a couple jobs for Emory (Teachers Assistant, admissions, writing lab, etc.). This summer he will be taking his GRE and begin applying at schools for his doctorate.

I took the above pic of him with his mother this past week when he got the chance to spend a couple days with us. We are very proud of him and wish we could find ways to spend more time together. Hopefully they won't be moving any further away next year than they already are. Still, he is very interesting to talk to and we can't wait to see what the future holds.

We were blessed with great kids.
