Son Isaac is 30 years old today. Holy cow... how can our youngest have reached this point already?? I guess time stops for no one, or something like that...
I think he and Ricci are making a short trip to NYC to celebrate. They will make their way to Indiana later this month.
Isaac just finished his first year in the Phd program at Emory University. They also moved not too long ago. He and Ricci had been house-sitting and that time came to an end, so they are now renting a small house on Ponce de Leon Ave. It is much closer to both of their schools, so that's nice.
For this "landmark" birthday we decided to splurge and give him... cash. He's a big Seinfeld fan so naturally we took a nod from Jerry's gift to Elaine. :) I'm sure he will get it.
I always liked the above pic with the long hair (and was jealous of it). I think he was a junior or senior in high school at the time. He doesn't look much like that now.
So, it's another year and another birthday for the boy. It seems we don't see or talk to him as much anymore, but it's always nice when we do. I sent him a birthday text this morning - hoping he has a good day.
