Exercise in yoke

Today I ventured on to chapter 2 in Mark Scandrette's book 'Practicing the Way of Jesus.' At the end he suggests this exercise to wrestle with where Jesus' promise of rest and freedom connects with the weariness in your life. We are to meditate on the following Scripture passage and journal our responses to the questions.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)
  • What makes me feel weary?
  • How am I burdened?
  • What in my life feels heavy?
  • Where do I most long for rest?
  • What do I want the Rabbi to teach me?

I must confess, as I look at this... I got nothin'. I've no idea what to even say. So... perhaps I need to do some more meditatin'.
