M'Lady took a few days and went 'back home' to Buda the end of last week. She left here Thursday morning and returned to the Fort Saturday afternoon.
She stayed with my mom, and helped her with some yard work and just visited. She also got to visit with several of her brothers.
It was a quick trip, but hopefully better than nothing. She's been under a lot of stress during the pandemic - mostly from work - and for her to take a few days off and stay at home is not the same as when I do it. She really needs a vacation where she doesn't have to cook, or babysit, or think about work, or listen to people complain about work, or... everything else she has to deal with all the time (even though she does it all with a gentle smile). Vacations are difficult things to do right now though. I wish this were not so.
At any rate, I have been blessed with a good wife and I appreciate her very much.
