What in the wide, wide world of sports is going on here? (You will not win a prize if you can name the movie reference).
Here we are in the 2,020th year of this covid pandemic. At least it seems like it. I can't think of a gall darn thing to write about, so here are some bullet buttons...
- It's funny how quiet my Facebook feed is since the election. I don't think I blocked everyone. Maybe they've all migrated to Pantry (or is it Parlor), or MeWe, or something.
- Remember in years past, as we approached Thanksgiving, people would do all those "Share stuff you're thankful for" things on social media? Yeaaaaah... Is anyone thankful for anything this year?
- It's kinda funny how the current president still doesn't think the virus is a thing (even though he had it). He's certainly not going to do anything to address it. And does anyone else in his family, or the white house, even exist anymore? Of course, the president-elect can't do anything either - because the current moron refuses to accept that he lost. How long is this going to go on? When are people going to put a stop to trump and his infantile shenanigans? I mean, the country is in shambles, the world is going to hell, and he's paying Rudy G $20,000 a day to think up frivolous lawsuits so he can try to keep his job... Which he isn't doing anyway!!!
- I'm wondering who is going to make the biggest haul with the vaccine. You know a handful of rich fuckers are going to get mega-richer. I am also almost certain that trump will try to profit off it.
- Anyway, in other news... apparently my dad is still living (and dying). My wife, son, sister, and one nephew are at my mom's house. The daughter is in quarantine. My dad's doctor (our nephew) is now sick with covid. I'm kind of just hanging out in the recesses of my mind, wishing there was a shady spot with more sunshine.
- I went for a walk yesterday. I thought I needed some fresh air and nature. I suppose I overdid it - walked like 3 miles - and my left calf has been sore ever since. Ugh. I know I should be doing stretches and things, but it's such a pain. I'd really just like for it to go away.
- Last night I thought I would be frugal and just eat something from the cupboards (instead of going to the store). I heated up a can of garbanzo beans. Um... I do not recommend them as a meal.
- You can also see from the top pic that our fridge is a little bare. We don't even drink pop/soda (it's been in there almost as long as covid has been a thing).
- I don't know what else to say. I need to clean my bathroom. I should also probably take a shower and shave. This is the day when I work the afternoon and evening. I don't like it, other than getting to sleep in another day.
- Meh... that's it.
