Well, not really. But last night Jane and I went to Montpelier, Indiana for a funeral visitation, and this statue of a giant Native American stands downtown. It is shown in the opening shot of the NBC TV show "Parks and Recreation." I've always liked the show, but I never knew about this (you can read about it HERE). It's about 30 miles south of our place. Seemed like a nice little town.

I was almost on parks and recreation

Montpelier isn't all that far from a church I used to pastor at. Good folks there but don't try to correct their pronunciation of their town. :)
