At any rate... it's been a ride. I went back and read my first post: Aqualung, My Friend. What's strange for me is that I can actually remember writing it. I don't have a really good memory. Such is life.
Actually, after checking, my anniversary was the day before yesterday. And this was my first post: Welcome To My Mind. Sorry for the confusion, but... remember that memory thing? Yeah...But I wonder, how much has my life changed in the last year? I have several new friends... people who have hopped into my life through this blog: Darrell (aka Whisky), Jamie, Milton, Tony, Ryan, Emily, Robin, Debbie, Tammie, Gil, Randy, Chris, Mike... among others. And I've chatted with old friends I hadn't talked to in ages. Not to mention being able to talk and share with close friends and family members. So, geez, in looking at it from that angle... this has been a really good thing. My life would be really different if it weren't for the blogosphere. In some respects I almost feel I've become a bit Canadian too. :)
Many thanks to all of you who have helped make this worthwhile. And, if you're a lurker here -- this might be a really good opportunity to "out" yourself and celebrate with me. :) You can even email if you like. I've always wondered who reads here from New Jersey, several in Virginia, California, Texas, and someone from near Wabash, IN who uses KConline. I would be interested to know who you are. But it's up to you.
Well, happy Friday, friends. Peace. Revolution(ate).

Randy,
Thanks. You too!
Fun milestone, huh? Happy Blogiversary :D. When I saw you were a Seinfeld kindred somewhere along the way, I knew I had to stick with ya. I haven't been able to write--and read--much lately, and I miss it. That, in and of itself, is more than slightly amusing to me.
Thanks for sharing your wit & wisdom...or is it your dangerous mind? We can celebrate with cereal. Wahooo! Party time!!
Yeah, you and Chris have done your part in making me spend money at the bookstore. Barnes & Noble & Amazon thank you for that!
peace,

Thanks for sharing... Even though I have the joy of face-to-face conversation with you, I always look forward to "hearing" what you have to say here as well. Thanks for sharing your mind and feeding mine.
Wow, a whole year. That's cool. I've really enjoyed reading your thoughts on things, especially since a few things you've talked about have been formulating in mind for some time. And this whole revolution thing that i've been reading about and hearing about, it's exciting! I just want to be a part of it so much.
Emily
Hi Emily,
Thanks for your thoughts. I have a lot of respect for, and feel really good about, your generation.
peace,
Dan
