Sick day

I took yesterday afternoon off and slept. I don't know what I have, but I am tired as a dog, and I just feel... cruddy. I've felt like this in varying degrees since last Thursday night. Just when I think I'm feeling better, then I start to feel worse again. I seem to have a history of this sort of thing about this time of year. Not every year, but enough to remember. Seems it's usually attributed to "some kinda virus" or something. Yesterday when sleeping I felt like my arms each weighed a ton, and that they weren't a part of my body. That was weird. But then I got up and went to the B.S. group and didn't feel too bad. I dunno.

"B.S. group" made me laugh. Presumably B.S. in this case is a noun describing the group's Biblical scholarship, and not an adjective describing its content or membership. :-)

Hope you feel better soon, bro. Peace.

...and don't taze me, bro.

Jim,
Well... b.s. stands for Bible Study in most instances, but we call it 'Wednesday Night B.S.' because that can cover pretty much anything that happens. :)

Milton,
Thanks for the well-wishes.

MR,
I must be sick, because I have no idea what that means.

A Florida University student invented a t-shirt with that phrase right before he rode the lightning for heckling John Kerry who was speaking there. Youtube has the whole thing, but America seems to have taken to the short clip they showed on the news of him saying "don't taze me, bro!" The student apparently is notorious for pranks on campus.

It almost sounds like Mono. I hope for your sake that it isn't. My roomate had it not too long ago. He'd wake up in the morning and feel fine, only to feel like crap later on in the day.

I thought it sounded like mono, too. Although you wouldn't get that over and over again. The heavy arm thing - yeah, that's pretty mono like. I can remember sitting in a chair and thinking that there was no way that I could make my arms and legs work enough to get out of the chair and walk across the room. I think you should go see somebody - you know, like a doctor - because feeling bad since last Thursday is not a good thing.

mononononono. that's what i was thinking too. majority wins. i'll make a deal with ya, you go to the doctor and i'll go to the eye doctor. if we both go, one of us will have to receive good news. right?

how do we feel about the wal mart eye doctor?

Hmm... I've actually had mono before (in high school), but hadn't thought about that. Could be.

I did happen to get a blood test today. But it was for a cholesterol check that I've been putting off for 3 months. Yeah... if I'm not better in...... oh, awhile, I'll go see the doc (I hate going to doctors).

thanks for the tip(s).

There's always Red Bull.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that would work against my blood pressure meds. Therefore necessitating a trip to the doc anyway. Arg.
