Jesus burns in ohio

We had just driven by this ungodly large statue of Jesus on our way home from vacation Sunday (along I-75), and apparently the very next day it was destroyed by fire after being struck by lightning (I swear I had nothing to do with it). While I think it's an odd looking thing myself, what I found especially interesting was that the people there are actually excited about the publicity the fire has generated. And they are absolutely planning on replacing it. I would think the church might want to be known more for being "Christ-like," rather than for their Christ "likeness"... but maybe that's just me.

You can read about it at Cincinnati.com, USAToday, and the Dayton Daily News.

It's not just you.

And that's an awesome line.
