It isn't long before pastors learn that a lot of people lie in the name of God.
Yeah... A lot of people. Sometimes you expect it. Sometimes it just plain hurts. Sometimes I wonder if there are any people who don't lie.
Although, I don't know what's worse: the people who lie, or the people who just flat out refuse to speak to you? It's probably the hardest thing about being a pastor, to me, because I don't understand why people feel this need to 'work against' one another; why we can't all be on the same team and work together for God. It really makes me sad.
