Jane's 50th birthday week came to a fabulous conclusion last night. It all started the previous Saturday night with a family supper at Club Soda. Last night we finished things off with the Applebees gang. 10 of us were able to make it to Chops for supper. Several of us went with the filet mignon, and once again, it did not disappoint. Jane also got a free dessert since it was her birthday. After we ate we all headed to Applebees to end the night. The place was packed though, and for the first time I can remember, we had to WAIT to be able to sit at the bar! We finally just put two bar tables together and did that.
It started to rain/sleet at some point, so we didn't stay out too awful late. Everyone's cars and the road were completely covered in ice. Carrie drove herself, so when she got ready to leave, Jane rode with her and I followed. We all made it fine.
Unfortunately not everyone could be there for the finale, but those who were able to make it were: Carrie, Mike, Kenny, Amish John, Dave and Joni, and Tim and Kesha. This was Tim and Kesha's first outing with the group outside the "b".
I think a fun time was had by all. I know it was by me - even though Jane did spill red wine on both of us. Completely worth it. :)
