What I'm thinking about...

Do you ever have that sense someone is trying to tell you something? You know, where you have all these seemingly random notions, and then they somehow all end up leading to the same thing?

That's been happening to me lately. I'm not really even sure what started it. One day I was thinking about the possible correlation between Chronic Stress and the seeming rise of mental instability in our land. Next thing I know I'm watching a news segment on Universal Basic Income. I didn't really connect those dots - I didn't even know there were words for them - but those two things seem to now be locked together on the front page of my brain... and then I stumbled onto this article on Humanity Is More Important Than Money - It's Time For Capitalism To Get An Upgrade. Again, it really stuck out to me, yet it wasn't until the very end of the article I saw it was from a book dealing with universal basic income again. Weird how that happens.

So, I'm still trying to flush these things out in my mind, but I wanted to at least get something down here while it was hot.

Oh, and I also added a new site to my sidebar: ideas.ted.com. A bundle of great ideas from the folks at TED. It's been keeping me busy at work the past few mornings. :)
