Okay, so... we've all got our "issues," right? One of mine just might be running shoes.
I bought my 4th pair of shoes this year, and the 3rd pair of the exact same brand/style this past week.
To be fair, the black & orange Brooks Ghost 11's were purchased in January of this year. I ran a half marathon in them, and am actually still using them for short mid-week running.
The gray Brooks Ghost 11's were purchased in July of this year. I've worn them for my long runs since then, and will run the marathon in them at the end of this month. They were actually on sale for $100.
The new blue/gray Brooks Ghost 11's on the right were just purchased this week! I ordered them online because they were on sale for a mere $85! The new version (Ghost 12) is now out, but I am such a fan of the 11's I thought it worthwhile to purchase some for "down the road." You never know what kind of "improvements" will be made to the newer versions.
Anyway, so I now have 3 pairs of the same exact shoe. Amazing enough, they are at least in three different colors! Hopefully I can hold off running in the newest ones for awhile. There's nothing quite like running in a new pair of shoes though!
