Busy, Busy

This morning I preached on Philippians 4:4-9. Dealing with worry. I am not done with Galatians yet, but felt like our group needed to hear about dealing with worry. At least I needed to.

I had a hectic week last week. Though the doctor did clear me to "try" running again. Yippee. I haven't had time to try it yet though. But now I seem to have done something to my middle finger on my left hand. I barely got through 3 songs on the guitar this morning. And it's kinda hard to type with two fingers taped together. Argh.

Anyway, this coming weekend is my son's prom/Mother's Day/ and my 23rd wedding anniversary. The next weekend I travel to Illinois for niece Laura's graduation party; the next weekend it's to Minnesota with Isaac to nephew Kyle's graduation, and Jane and Carrie will be in Illinois for neice Vicki's wedding. The next weekend is son Isaac's graduation from high school. We're having a big bash for him and 2 friends at our new pavilion - hopefully their band and a couple of others will be playing at it. The next weekend daughter Carrie is moving to Ohio to do a summer internship at Winebrenner Theological Seminary. A weekend off and then it's vacation Bible school weekend.

Man... I could use a vacation. But, I am going to try not to worry. It's all good. It's great that we have been blessed with lots to celebrate. And some people probably do this all the time.

So, if I don't post too much it's because I'm busy, gone, or out working in the yard. Rejoice. Let me say it again... Rejoice!

Peace. Revolution!
