We're into a new month so it's time to reflect on the previous...
April saw me run 95 miles, walk 41.5 (official walking, not just random), for a total of 136.5 miles on my Brooks Ghost 12 and Hoka Clifton 7 shoes. I alternate shoes each day.
As I've previously stated, I don't count all my miles. I don't wear a tracker. I have a GPS watch I use for my scheduled afternoon run/walk time. I have no idea how many more miles I likely walk to and from work and while I'm there. It's probably a few each day.
January is still the most overall miles and running miles I've done in a month since I've been on this every day streak beginning 11/11/21. You can see from the chart I posted from March that I came darn close in April though.
I suppose highlights from last month are the half marathon, as well as a 5k at 27:03 and a couple 59-minute 10k times.
Speaking of the run streak... it is still going. At least a mile every day (which is what I've been limiting myself to on my "off" days). I guess I averaged a 5k per day in April. I'm thinking that I may stop the streak on May 11 though. That will be 6 months, and it needs to stop sometime - especially if I start marathon training at some point. We'll see.
So, another month, another log sheet... and on and on it goes.
